Common Ground Climate Tech Meetup – From Methane to Megawatts(GSE Side Event)

The Consulate General of the Netherlands is organising 'Common Ground Climate Tech Meetup - From Methane Gas to Megawatts" as a side event of the Global Startup EXPO (GSE) at the Expo 2025 Osaka site.

Climate change is a pressing issue for humanity, and it is of utmost importance that Japan and the Netherlands are discussing ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to transition to renewable energy on the global stage of the Expo. At Yumeshima, the stage of the Expo, the importance of methane management has also come to the forefront, calling for radical transformation.

We will introduce two start-ups from the Netherlands that are tackling climate challenges with practical and scalable technologies, and together with Japanese stakeholders, we will think together about solutions to the global challenges we face, share ideas and contribute to a better global environment for the next generation.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about Dutch green tech initiatives through the work of up-and-coming start-ups. We look forward to seeing you there.
